A native of Virginia, Mark learned his first guitar chords at age 9. Life experience and a few years of living in Nashville, Tennessee, taught him how to become a professional musician. Since 1984, Mark has been involved in musical performance, sound recording/production, and instrument instruction in Sampson County.

Mark is the owner of Circle Sound Recording Studios and Audio Solutions located in Newton Grove, North Carolina. He is currently the guitarist/vocalist for the Super Grit Cowboy Band, a position he has held since arriving in North Carolina.
